ACC has four selected in first round of 2017 NFL Draft


The Oakland Raiders took him with the 24th pick.

The supposed asking price to acquire a backup quarterback has been astonishing. They will be giving live commentary of the draft, though it won't be quite as in depth as Thursday or Friday because the picks will be occurring fairly fast.

As awesome as it is that millions tune in for the first round of the Draft, it's arguably even crazier that many keep watching through later rounds, in which players most National Football League fans have never even heard of are drafted.

Three receivers taken in the top 10? This reporter has never subscribed to the multi-year time frame for evaluating a draft. The Titans and Chargers went with wide receivers Corey Davis of Western Michigan and Mike Williams of Clemson, respectively.

There's no doubt that the opening round of the 2017 NFL Draft contained some dramatic trades, surprise picks, and overall just an insane amount of intrigue. His combination of strength and quickness should help take a lot of short Mariota throws a long way. Temple linebacker Haason Reddick wore a red tie for some reason.
