If Warriors play Spurs next, Tony Parker won't be a factor

San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker will miss the remainder of the National Basketball Association playoff season after suffering a leg injury during his team's win over the Houston Rockets, the Spurs said Thursday.

The Spurs announced that veteran guard Tony Parker has undergone successful surgery to fix his ruptured quad tendon, but there is no timetable for his recovery just yet.

The procedure to fix Parker's injury was performed by Spurs team physician Dr. David R. Schmidt.

After a miserable Game 1 performance, the Spurs rolled to a 121-96 victory last night to tie their series with the Rockets.

The series moves to Houston for Games 3 and 4 on Friday and Sunday. You can't win in the playoffs with just Batman, you need the whole Justice League.

Said Harden: "You can take anybody off that roster, and they're [still] a great team". Tomorrow they are going to tell us. It certainly wasn't a pretty game to watch, as the Spurs shot 45.3 percent from the field and won thanks to the Rockets' 36.4 shooting percentage.

Backup Patty Mills will likely start in Parker's place for Friday night's Game 3 against the host Rockets.

As Erdogan visits Trump, much friction between US and Turkey
Big developments or concessions where Gulen or Zarrab are concerned, however, could have domestic consequences for the Trump team. Putin said he had discussed this issue with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who voiced his concern on this theme.

"We started off pretty slow, but I think we did good", said Leonard, who had 10 rebounds and seven assists.

"Aldridge sooner or later is going to go off because he's an All-Star", Houston coach Mike D'Antoni said.

RAPTORS: All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors missed practice because of his sprained left ankle, and the team said more tests are scheduled to determine the severity of the injury. If Leonard can't get in the lane, only Stephen Curry (12) is averaging more points on pull-up jumpers than him (9.9). Green had 11 points.

The Spurs only tallied 19 points in the first quarter of Game 3, and shot 35 percent in the period. Patrick Beverley received a technical foul in the fourth quarter.

Besides that question, the other factor that will determine how much the Spurs miss Parker is how they fill the minutes Mills can't play. Kawhi Leonard did it all as he scored 34 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out eight assists.

"I don't know what it is but I just like playing here", he said.

"I definitely have to help out Kawhi (Leonard)", Aldridge said, via the San Antonio Express-News, after Game 2. This is insane to think about because Pop lead this team in the regular season to a 61-21 record while having a defense ranked 1st in the league (103.5 DEF RTG). The Spurs are still more than capable of finishing the series with the Houston Rockets in five games.
