One person in a vehicle was killed, the station reported, citing an emergency response official.

The storm knocked out telephone service into and out of the city.

About 50 to 70 homes were damaged and several were destroyed, he said.

Elk City school officials have canceled classes for Wednesday. Cattle have been killed, but Risenhoover said he had no immediate reports of people injured.

Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said all of the residents of that park have now been accounted for.

Emergency crews are assessing the damage, but Fitzgerald estimates the damages to be in the millions.

"I know there were walls on top of people", Fitzgerald told CNN affiliate WCCO and other media outlets.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Mike Umscheid says radar images suggest the storm may have produced other brief, rain-wrapped tornadoes as it moved over rural farmland.

Smith says another round of severe storms is forecast Thursday and Friday, with more tornadoes possible. There were no reports of any damage there.

Google Android O Beta Now Available
The announcement comes almost a year after GE Appliances unveiled a similar integration with Amazon's Alexa-powered speakers. Android O is a major update for Google's mobile platform, and it's bringing with it a major focus on entry-level devices.

The storm struck a subdivision about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday just south of Elk City, Oklahoma, about 110 miles west of Oklahoma City.

The NWS says that almost 40 percent of all tornado deaths have historically occurred in mobile homes.

One person died and 25 people were injured after a twister tore through the small town of Chetek in western Wisconsin around 5:45 p.m. local time Tuesday, causing massive wreckage. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will be in Chetek on Wednesday afternoon to tour the damage, including a visit to Prairie Lake Estates. The National Weather Service (NWS) said the damage to the mobile home was "likely not survivable."

Sheriff's dispatchers say they're too busy to provide details.

A tornado also ripped through a mobile home park near the northwestern Wisconsin city of Chetek, about 110 miles northeast of Minneapolis.

Several poultry barns at a turkey processing plant across the street were badly damaged, and turkeys could be seen wandering in the debris. Hultquist said a low-pressure system moving north from Nebraska on Wednesday was expected to bring strong thunderstorms to southeastern Minnesota and western portions of central and southern Wisconsin. Through May 5, 28 of the 32 reported deaths this year occurred in strong EF3- and EF4-rated tornadoes.

Other tornadoes in western Oklahoma and the eastern Texas Panhandle have downed power lines and utility poles, but there were no immediate reports of injuries.

At least three people are dead and dozens more injured after a string of tornados swept across five states Tuesday.
