Baahubali: The Conclusion Creates History By Crossing 1500 Crore Mark Worldwide

The epic movie "Baahubali 2" has revamped the box office records by set by the first part of the magnum opus and Bollywood's once-highest-grossing film Dangal.

PK, which previously had the honour of being India's highest earning film, has now slipped to the number three spot, with around Rs 792 crore in lifetime, worldwide box office collections. "Baahubali 2: "The Conclusion". The story of Baahubali 2 will be released on the small screen and will cater to the larger audiences.

Baahubali stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. The film has now crossed the Rs 450 crore benchmark, on the basis of its Hindi version alone.

The retailer reported $1.00 earnings per share for the quarter, beating the Thomson Reuters' consensus estimate of $0.96 by $0.04. On the other hand, president and CEO, Walmart eCommerce U.S., said, "Customers are placing more repeat orders and spending more".

The overwhelming response to Baahubali 2, critically and commercially, shows that spectacle-heavy masala filmmaking is the future of Indian cinema and if executed with passion, nothing can stop a film from succeeding. "Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, "#Baahubali2 in 3 Wks becomes the 1st Indian Movie to do ₹ 1,500 Cr India N: "953 Cr G: "1,227 Cr Overseas: "275 Cr T: "1,502 Crs". Baahubali 2 has also started new clubs for an Indian movie and has touched some unprecedented milestones.

With no competitors, Baahubali 2 achieved a thunderous performance at the global box office and collected Rs 1,250 crore gross in two weeks.
