Celtics should be open to trade No. 1 pick - Danny Picard

The Magic have the sixth pick in the upcoming draft and four picks in the top 35. Who do you take with the #1 overall pick?

The first 10 picks could feature as many as five point guards being selected, dropping some of the premier big men to the next 10 and letting teams with serious needs in the frontcourt get their pick of some of the best frontcourt players.

The Boston Celtics are trying to go from No. 1 seed to No. 1 pick.

Not only that, but they would have had to trade their 2019 first-round pick to Orlando if that happened, so Johnson was all smiles even after finishing behind the rival Celtics.

The Lakers landed the No. 2 overall pick in next month's draft and will have the selection for the third consecutive year. "I wish we would have gotten the No. 1 pick, but we trust the process and it's going to be exciting to see what we're going for".

I'm not saying they should panic and pull the trigger on the first good trade offer that comes their way.

Watchdog steps up probe of Just Eat and Hungryhouse merger
Just Eat first announced its plans to buy hungryhouse, its biggest United Kingdom rival, in December. Just Eat coughed up £200m for Hungryhouse last December, buying it from Delivery Hero.

Our data has shown guards to be more hard to project than big men at the next level, as some guards are able to transfer their shooting to the National Basketball Association while others possess shooting flaws that aren't exposed until they play against bigger and faster defenses in the National Basketball Association. And by that I mean the Celtics should absolutely let it be known that No. 1 overall is available for the right price.

"It could be something that we utilize a pick to package along with a player to maybe enhance a trade situation", he said.

At the trade deadline the following season, the Nets would make a move to get Williams a complementary "star" to convince him to stay in free agency and traded for aging Gerald Wallace.

If the Celtics plan to keep the pick, however, that could certainly change things. "Markelle Fultz from Washington is a 6'4" PG who can contribute right away if Jeff Teague leaves during free agency or if they chose to bring him off the bench to replace Teague. But the Celtics are in the driver's seat right now. Not because they'd want to, but because Thomas might not want to stick around with an organization that's committing to the kids, especially one at his point-guard position, rather than acquire NBA-ready talent to make a serious championship run right now. I'd imagine he wouldn't be too pleased if Ainge drafted Fultz.

But now that the 2017 pick is officially the number one overall and bears the prospect of netting a potential future superstar such as Markelle Fultz or the highly controversial Lonzo Ball, it is certainly much more valuable than it was before. I want to win now.

Whatever the Celtics do, it's a great decision to have to make. "I think the opportunity that would be there would be awesome, just for him to play off the ball, where I think he's better at it, or him to play on the ball and I can play off the ball".
