Charles Dance joins cast of Godzilla: King of the Monsters

But the monster renaissance started with 2014's Godzilla. The film's cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, Anthony Ramos, Charles Dance, and Sally Hawkins.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters begins his reign on March 22, 2019.

The roster has just grown slightly bigger with some more star power.

Dance was not the only casting announcement made today. The British actor is best known for his work on HBO's Game of Thrones, in which he plays the sinister Tywin Lannister. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Hawkins will be reprising the Dr. Vivienne Graham role from Gareth Edwards' 2014 Godzilla, while Deadline broke that Dance has signed on to play an undisclosed role in the Michael Dougherty film.

Terrorism ruled out after auto rams pedestrians in Times Square
The crash happened near 44th Street and Seventh Avenue, at the heart of Times Square near Broadway just before noon on Thursday. A witness told Reuters that one person was covered in a bloodstained blanket after the collision.

We are still two years away from the release of the movie, but production will start next month - likely due to the fact that a lot of special effects are needed.
