IPL Qualifier 1 2017

IPL Qualifier 1 2017

A 73-run stand for the fourth wicket between MS Dhoni and Manoj Tiwary eventually made the difference and helped push Pune through to their first final in the Indian Twenty20 competition, comfortably overhauling Mumbai by 20 runs in the qualifier at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Tuesday.

The team losing tomorrow will get another opportunity to reach gala finale and victor will be competing with each after there will be an elimination from the SRH and KKR.

Without Stokes, RPS need to find a player who can perform with the bat and ball.

MI isn't taking the qualifier match lightly as the team is now giving the bad performance in series against Pune in the league matches of this IPL season.

Another one is of Kieron Pollard getting some cakey facial treatment on the occassion of his birthday from his Mumbai Indians teammates.

It is hard for the RPS to bring any new player at this end of series for finals. Currently, Mumbai and Pune both captured top position at the IPL points table on the first and second spot with 20 and 18 points both teams are having respectively. "I think we could lift the trophy in the finals as well", Sundar said after receiving the man-of-the-match award. The side that plays better cricket today will be the victor. Khawaja had not any experience in this IPL 2017 play.

Those in residential care - whose property is already taken into account in the means test - can already do this. But Labour said it was an "all-out attack on pensioner incomes".

Like Stokes, the RPS also had the best options such as Faf Du Plessis.

However, they will be without two of their key performers as they head to the playoffs; all-rounder Ben Stokes and Imran Tahir have parted ways with the team to join up with their respective national teams.

If Khawaja plays, then RPS will go with the same bowling unit that has done so well in recent times, but if Ferguson is brought in, it could mean either Washington Sundar or Shardul Thakur, who took three wickets in the win over KXIP, sitting out.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma uploaded a video of the Mumbai Indians travelling back to Mumbai for their playoff clash against Rising Pune Supergiant. MI skipper Rohit Sharma, who was fielding at the long off boundary tried to follow the ball's trajectory hoping to catch it but found himself sitting alongside Pune players.

Mitchell McClenaghan bowled opener Rahul Tripathi (0) off the final ball of his first over before Steve Smith (1) skied Lasith Malinga to Hardik Pandya.

Though there is not a single MI batsman among this edition's top-10 run getters, the batting looks to be in good nick as compared to its bowling.
