Leonard will play in Game 1 of conference finals Sunday, Pop says

Each year, the Warriors held up their end of the bargain and were in the Western Conference Finals, but the Spurs will finally join them.

In Game 6, they handed the Rockets a 114-75 loss, leaving the Rockets to 39 points unanswered for, according to FOX Sports With their Game 6 win, the Spurs took the series 4-2, and successfully bought a ticket to the conference finals. The San Antonio Spurs were the No. 1-ranked defense during the regular season, giving up only 103.5 points per 100 possessions. Despite leading the series and standing one victory away from a showdown with the Golden State Warriors in the conference finals, the Spurs have their own set of concerns. We just didn't expect the Spurs to be the team delivering the thrashing.

His trey trimmed the Spurs' lead to 18 points. He stayed in the game and played the entire period, scoring 10 of his team-high 22 points.

San Antonio won the first game.

ESPN added that Leonard was given complete treatment for his sprained left ankle on Thursday while his team played against Houston. But the Spurs will be without starting point guard Tony Parker, who is out for the season after tearing his quad in the Rockets series. Though this series could have been very interesting previous year, Kevin Durant brings so much to the table in this series on both ends of the floor that it is hard to go against the Warriors in this one.

Former Fox News chief Roger Ailes dies at 77
Ailes long commanded one of the pillars of Murdoch's media empire, and a unit of the Murdoch-led conglomerate 21st Century Fox. Roger Ailes , the former chairman and CEO of Fox News who revolutionized television news, died Thursday, his wife revealed.

Popovich is known for his dry one-liners, but the injury-stricken Spurs may need divine intervention to topple the red-hot Warriors.

Harden did get a standing ovation after fouling out from the Rockets fans that did remain in the building when the game was winding down.

Asked if Harden was injured, D'Antoni said, "He's been battling that cold, but nothing I know of". Along with having one of the game's best players in Leonard (he should be fine for the next series), they also have the game's best coach in Gregg Popovich. Dejounte Murray, who came on in his place, delivered 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in 24 minutes, as the Spurs outscored the Rockets by 33 points with the Rookie PG on the floor.

"He looked better today", Spurs guard Manu Ginobili said. We've seen Leonard's body of work in the regular season and in the Finals when he matched up against LeBron James. LaMarcus Aldridge is one candidate, especially after a 34-point performance in the series clincher against Houston. They moved the ball, played suffocating defence and had the Houston crowd booing the hometown team by half-time.
