Missing Australian school girl allegedly groomed by convicted killer on Snapchat

In court documents filed with the US District Court, Eastern District of New York, Homeland Security special agent Miguel Collazo alleges Price had admitted that he initiated communications with the girl on Snapchat even earlier, in October past year.

An American man accused of meeting a 16-year-old Australian girl on Snapchat and enticing her to the U.S. for sex is behind bars in a NY jail.

Sean Price, a 39-year-old with a long criminal history and who lived with his mother in the NY borough of Queens, is charged with transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.

The girl was then taken to Royal Prince Alfred hospital.

And, as reports, this happens to be the same day that USA police assert that the teen landed in Los Angeles International Airport (she is reported to have been met there by Price in a rented vehicle, with the pair then driving more than 12,000km to New York).

Price reportedly has 11 prior convictions including criminally negligent homicide for the death of a passenger in a vehicle crash. He has now been charged with a range of new offences, including rape in the third degree, police say.

They allegedly hired a vehicle and drove across the US.

And after getting consent from Price to look through his phone, authorities also found a number of naked pictures of the underage teen dated back to February of this year.

It took a joint operation between Australian and USA authorities to track down Price and the Aussie teenager, and on May 12, the two were found hiding in the basement of Price's mother's home in NY.

When NYPD officers knocked on the front door of the house in Queens, Price's mother answered the door.

Price's bail bid in a Brooklyn court on Wednesday failed.

A teenage girl says she was kept as a sexual slave in a Sydney house before she was able to escape and alert authorities, sparking an investigation into human trafficking and sexual servitude.

"Any offer doesn't give the court much confidence", the magistrate said.
