Ronald Koeman not confident over Ross Barkley's Everton future

Ronald Koeman not confident over Ross Barkley's Everton future

The Dutchman has led Everton to a seventh-placed Premier League finish, guaranteeing the Merseyside club Europa League qualification at a time when local media have linked their two biggest stars, striker Romelu Lukaku and midfielder Ross Barkley, with possible moves elsewhere.

"We need an answer after the weekend, I don't know what will happen if he doesn't give any answer".

Barkley, who came through Everton's youth academy, is about the enter the final year of his contract at Goodison Park.

Koeman has given the England global a deadline of the end of this week to decide whether or not he wants to stay at the club, but the manager is unsure where Barkley's future lies. "I don't need to explain more because if we don't want the player to stay longer, then we don't offer him a new contract". "Even when he stays, there will be more competition for him next season".

Anniversary event confirmed; art book, comic anthology due for October release
No release date has been set, but since " Overwatch " came out on May 24, 2016, the event will likely kick off sometime next week. Overwatch's Anniversary Event begins on May 23rd, the same day its Game of the Year Edition launches, and will end on June 12th.

"I am not anxious because I like to work with players who like to play".

"If you offer a player a new contract, and a good contract, that means you want to keep the player". We can beat them.

Despite a slow start to the campaign, Barkley's form has improved of late and he has managed to register five goals and nine assists in the league overall this term.

And Koeman accepts it will now be tough for Lukaku - who like Barkley has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park - to overhaul England global Kane. "We didn't expect four goals from Kane".
