Wonder Woman Wields the Lasso of Truth in New Poster

As usual, the images don't reveal anything that we haven't seen in trailers and other footage for Wonder Woman (of course, Warner Bros. wouldn't want to give away too much information about its upcoming film). I mean, talk about getting two for the price of one.

Counting down to the main event, award-winning digital series DC All Access will host "Wonder Woman Week" programs from May 29 to June 3. "I'd like to bring her a little farther along into the future and have a fun, exciting storyline that is its own thing".

After her scene-stealing turn in last year's Batman v Superman, Gal Gadot's Diana Prince will be riding front and centre in Wonder Woman when it arrives on 2 June.

We had the opportunity to reduce the gap but it was not our day. "The circumstances were completely different [from last season]". This season was important for all to see that football is not about one man or one player, it's about being strong as a unit.

"The six-day takeover will spotlight essential books, sit down with key talent from the Wonder Woman feature film, and also discuss the iconic character's legacy with acclaimed comic writers and artists".

Now, head on down to our gallery below to check out eight new images (via EW) from the film. "I'm excited for her to come to America and become the Wonder Woman we are all familiar with from having grown up around her as an American superhero", she said. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers ... and her true destiny.

But they've been refreshingly quiet about the first big female-driven comic book movie since 2005's "Electra" - so quiet that it's already slipped out that "Wonder Woman 2" is already in the works.
