Antonio Conte Won't Confirm Whether John Terry Will Start Against Sunderland

Conte refused to confirm if John Terry would be given a start on his last appearance at Stamford Bridge but it would take a cold-hearted man to deny the long-serving skipper the send off he deserves so I think Terry will start.

Terry's appearance against Sunderland on Sunday will be his last at home for Chelsea, with his 22-year stint at the club to end when his contract expires next month.

Antonio Conte lauded John Terry for putting Chelsea ahead of himself as the captain prepares for his final game at Stamford Bridge. It will be a surprise. "He is a legend for this club and in this season he has been very important to winning this title, and for this reason I have to take my time and make my best decision for him".

Antonio Conte admits that Chelsea are aware that they will need to improve their squad in the summer to defend their Premier League title next season.

"John has all the possibilities to continue his career", he added.

He said: "I'm made up to be named the Premier League Kicks Hero for Chelsea".

"Honestly for sure this season wasn't easy for me about my family, because we decided my wife and my daughter would stay in Italy to allow my daughter to finish school", Conte told reporters during a news conference.

"In the main, Chelsea have been worthy champions - but I think in the early part of the season, there were a few questions being asked".

Iran state TV declares Rouhani wins vote for second term
Rouhani, considered a moderate, was a key architect of the 2015 nuclear deal with the USA , the European Union and other partners. Election officials extended voting hours at least three times at the more than 63,000 polling places to accommodate the crowds.

With Tammy Abraham's stellar form in a Bristol City shirt, it begs the question whether we should be signing a player in the swan-song of his career that is likely to starve him of any game time. I think John has all of these characteristics.

Even if they lose, they will finish with more wins this season than opponents Sunderland have points.

Conte's future has been the subject of speculation, amid rumours Inter Milan are coveting him.

After Mourinho seemingly lost the Chelsea dressing room, the Blues fell apart and went from 1st to 10th in the space of just a year, but Merson can't see such an implosion happening under Conte. "It's important to underline this". As Conte says, "we have targets to reach", so it's risky to really start thinking and looking too far beyond these last two games at the moment. I have a great opinion about John.

Speaking to the media at Cobham (Chelsea's training ground), the 47-year-old declared, "On Sunday we have two targets, to try to win the 30 games in this league, which would be an unbelievable target for us, and to help Thibaut to win the Golden Glove".

"We have one more game (against Sunderland on Sunday) and the FA Cup final to play".

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and central defender Toby Alderweireld have been left out of the EA Sports FIFA 17 Premier League Team of the Season starting lineup.
