Mauricio Pochettino issues warning to Manchester United and Chelsea

Harry Kane has targeted a century of Premier League goals as he closes in on defending the Golden Boot.

Prolific striker Harry Kane expressed his determination to seal the Premier League's Golden Boot award after a four-goal rampage during Tottenham's demolition of dethroned champions Leicester.

His performance at the King Power on Thursday took Kane to 26 league goals for the season, the best return of his career so far, and the England worldwide says he wants to reach a century of Premier League goals next season, now sitting on 75 efforts.

"We will keep the players that we want to keep", Pochettino said. "We've not too much to play for now but we went out there and put on a performance like that".

'They are happy here as we are building an exciting project'.

Pochettino said: "Harry Kane's a special player, he loves Tottenham". He means a lot for the team.

"No", he told Sky Sports when asked if his biggest worry as a coach was that a bigger club would try and sign a player like Kane. "His performances show that we are right".

The English striker is the highest goalscorer in the English Premier League this season with 26 strikes.

"It is the first time I have scored four goals in my professional career". After just three years of Premier League football with Tottenham he's already 18th on the list of Spurs' all-time leading goal scorers, and Kane says he's nowhere near done, with a goal to try and crack 100 league goals before the end of next season. "I just wanted to get one or two tonight to take it to the final game but to score the extra two at the end made it the ideal night".

Chelsea has taken the trophy off Leicester, which astonishingly won the title last season but collapsed this year and is now 11th.

Tottenham could become the fifth Premier League team to record 400 wins in this match (961 games, W399 D247 L315). You know better than me it is so hard.

"I felt good. Leicester made it tough for us, they came out in the second half and really put the pressure on".

He turned provider for Tottenham's fourth goal in the 71st minute by setting up Son to finish coolly past Schmeichel, before grabbing a late double to round off a sensational attacking display.

As for Craig Shakespeare and Leicester, despite the result, they can look back on a satisfying second half of the season.

Lukaku has 24 league goals this term, the most for Everton in a top-flight season since Gary Lineker struck 30 in 1985-86, but has not scored in his last four appearances. If you get beaten 6-1 there are no positives.
