Arsene Wenger hits out at Arsenal fans after Champions League miss

Wenger is yet to confirm if he will still be in charge next season, but the ongoing speculation and protests from fans who want the Frenchman out were surely part of a negative atmosphere which has hampered the Gunners this season. "You could not question my love or my loyalty to this club, because I said no to every club in the world to stay here with very restricted finances for years".

"You have been at the games, and you can not say that the environment for the group of players was especially positive", said Wenger.

And amid the uncertainty, Arsenal's season has foundered in the competitions that matter most. "It has been hard, yes", he said.

He added of the troubled environment: "Certainly my personal situation has contributed to that".

"I was focused on my job".

"You can not question my love or my loyalty to this club because I've said no to every club in the world to stay here with very restricted finances for years".

"I'm not protecting anybody", he said, continuing to take reporters' questions as he headed to the door following Sunday's post-match news conference.

Who Will Win This Season's Dancing With The Stars?
Because of his skills as a football player, Jennings had to work on his dance skills and showed improvement throughout the season. The former New York Giants running back admits he's always been close but has never won a championship or even a playoff game.

Wenger is not ready to give anything away, yet.

With Arsenal winning against Everton on Sunday, the Reds were set to miss out on one of the slots until Georginio Wijnaldum blasted in the opener in first-half stoppage time, with second-half goals from Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana then easing the tension for an Anfield crowd that included the club's owner John W Henry. Kroenke turned down a £1.3billion bid from Alisher Usmanov for his majority shareholding but Wenger stood by his embattled owner. "I would not say we're already in because qualification is qualification but we're already looking forward to it".

"It is Middlesbrough Football Club that we have to get right in the summer months and make sure we are all prepared for a tough campaign in the Championship". It is the technical department who is responsible for that. 'Maybe it was a penalty but I didn't see it again, ' said Klopp.

The curtain came down on the 2016/17 season yesterday afternoon. "For 20 years we were in it and it's the first year that we will not be in it". 'We deserve this position, 76 points is an outstanding number. Overall I believe that we played since January in a very hard environment for different reasons. "Some obviously that you know about, and that is very hard for the group of players to cope with that". There are some other reasons that we will talk about another day. "I'm experienced enough to deal with it but it was a big handicap for the team because they played in a very hostile environment".

Goals by Hector Bellerin, Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey sealed victory for Arsenal on Sunday but they now have a defensive headache for next week's Wembley final against Chelsea.

'Everything feels good at this club at the moment, ' said Klopp.
