At refugee camp, Trump envoy Haley vows more aid for Syrians

Searching for Syria combines data from the UNHCR and Google to answer five questions: "what was Syria like before the war?"; "what is happening in Syria?"; "who is a refugee?"; "where are Syrian refugees going?"; and "how can I help Syrian refugees?".

Nikki Haley says the focus should move to supporting roads, schools and hospitals in neighboring countries that have been overwhelmed by millions of refugees. The six-year-long Syria conflict has killed.

Haley's visit to Jordan is part of her first major worldwide trip as U.N. Ambassador.

The U.S. official gave her remarks after a visit to the Dhahiyat Al Amir Hassan School in Amman that was built under funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and includes hundreds of Syrian and Jordanian students.

"At Za'atari camp in Jordan we enjoyed talking to Syrian refugee children about school, their favorite classes & their hopes for the future", tweeted Haley, along with a picture from the camp.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, said Sunday her visit to Jordan aims at taking a firsthand look at the conditions of Syrian refugees and learn about the Kingdom's efforts in helping the refugees and providing them with services.
