Dirt 4's FIA World Rallycross gameplay revealed

Codemasters and Koch Media have today released the third of their "Be Fearless" trailers for DiRT 4, this time focusing on the game's rallycross content that will include a number of classes of different circuits. It may look exactly like an Impreza - and indeed it is built on the same platform as the regular sedan - but the WRX is a rallycross staple.

Rallycross is the name of the game in the new gameplay trailer for Dirt 4, which features footage of supercars racing at locations including Lohéac Bretagne, Montalegre, Lydden Hill, Hell, and Holjes.

DiRT 4 contains several different vehicle classes for rallycross, along with the Supercar class, you'll also have the RX2, Super 1600s, Group B classics and the crosskarts at your disposal. Of course, it doesn't take a champion to be able to get the rules of Rallycross right, with short 4 to 6 lap races around circuits that mix both dirt and asphalt sections, and the mandatory Joker Lap. Drivers compete in four qualifying races before the top drivers make the semi finals and final.
