Murray to start Game 4 for Penguins

The defending Stanley Cup champions have had all sorts of problems with injuries to their defense this spring, but on Friday night at Canadian Tire Centre, two blue liners inflicted some pain of their own. Kyle Turris added one more to the 5-0 late in the second period and with wonderful work by Craig Anderson in goal as well, the Sens pulled off a 5-1 win in Game 3, leading the series 2-1.

Game 5 is set for at 3 p.m. start on Sunday at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.

"I think he leads by example and I thought he had one of his best games tonight", Sullivan said.

Coach Guy Boucher wouldn't say if he was going to make any changes.

I believe there are Penguins players that have a sort of loyalty to The Flower. "It's not going to go 16 games in a row perfectly. It doesn't matter if you play against Ottawa or Washington", the 30-year-old Russian said.

"I've really been enjoying this playoff run", Fleury said Thursday. I've been focusing on our team, and I have no clue. "When the puck goes to Sid, you obviously always want to be skating because he can make those plays". "You don't need to play all the time to be good". The Ottawa Senators have lost 14 of their last 18 games when allowing three or more goals. Murray entered for the first time since April 4 and finished with 19 saves while shaking off the rust from his six-week layoff.

"It wasn't the outcome we wanted", said defenseman Brian Dumoulin said of Game 6, "but it's a best-of-seven series for a reason".

How it happened: Crosby scored and assisted on the first two goals to help the Penguins jump out to a crucial early lead against a team that is especially stingy when it's protecting a lead. "It's a fortunate bounce". I forgot who came out in the lane, but he did a good job. "And that's what I tried to do, just play with no hesitation and no fear". "Fortunately, it went in off Dion's skate". Like all coaches at this time of the year, Mike Sullivan is tight-lipped when discussing injuries, giving out no more information than whether it's an upper- or lower-body injury, if he even divulges that much.

Former James Bond actor Sir Roger Moore dies after cancer battle
He continued to work regularly in films after handing over Bond to Timothy Dalton, but never with the same success. Moore played the role of James Bond from 1973 to 1985 and was knighted in his home country of England in 2003.

"It takes five guys" to check Crosby, said Ottawa defender Marc Methot.

The Senators, who will be looking to extend their home winning streak to five games, are just two victories from getting to their first Stanley Cup finals in a decade. "I think seeing the way we played, hopefully that's something we can build off of".

Following that initial flurry in the first, the Sens had little going right until the last two minutes of the middle period.

Ottawa had to scramble to hold fast, with Phil Kessel's deciding goal coming in the third when Anderson said he caught an edge with his skate and wasn't able to move to his left to stop the puck. At the end there, we hit the post.

For these Senators - I have come to accept while watching them hurdle obstacles and perform overtime magic - are truly a team of destiny.

It's up to the Penguins now to get back to the game plan that worked so well in Game 2, where their pressure was just too much for Ottawa's trap.

On Friday, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan announced that Matt Murray would start Friday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals in place of Marc-Andre Fleury.
