Nicki Minaj plays with fire at Billboard Awards

"This feels good but it feels so wrong because I love Drake so much", said Halsey (Drake's One Dance was also nominated for top Hot 100 song). The singer and actress noted that she had been lucky to have a dream career for more than five decades, and at the age of 71, she said she can still hold a plank for five minutes. But mind-blowing does not even begin to describe the dress that the singer wore to the 2017 Billboard Music Awards-and, no, that is not us being dramatic. Not only did she start dancing to "Believe", but the press forgot they were working and joined her in a sing-along.

With scenes from the multi Oscar-winning Titanic playing behind her, Celine, who lost her husband Rene Angelil to cancer 16 months ago, reduced the audience, including awards co-host Vanessa Hudgens, to tears with her emotive performance.

These are the top moments from the awards show.

"Last year was a great moment for me here receiving the Icon award, but this year was like "I'll go".

Lester pitches 4-hitter as Cubs beat Cueto, Giants 4-1
Cubs: LHP Brett Anderson , who is on the 10-day DL with a lower back strain, is scheduled for a bullpen session on Tuesday. An inning later, Heyward lined a ball that barely cleared the basket in right for his fourth homer and a 2-0 Cubs lead.

Despite the success of "Titanic" and "My Heart Will Go On", Celine - who performed in a giant chandelier while clips from the movie were shown on a screen behind her - admitted director James didn't initially want her iconic theme to be a part of his film.

She noted she was told early on that she never was the most handsome or the most talented, but she was special and added that "luck has so much to do with my success with a little bit of something thrown in". He called the Soundgarden and Audioslave singer "a true innovator", "a musical architect", "a prolific songwriting" and "a legendary performer" - as a large photo of Cornell singing with his eyes closed was displayed behind him. She impressed early with her rapping skills to show her love for Nicki Minaj, then tried a heartfelt rendition of Dion's "The Power of Love". He also made it a point to praise her and said, "I want to say, Nicki Minaj - I'm so glad we found our way back because I love you and I could never ever ever see it any other way".

Nicki Minaj will open the ceremony at the T-Mobile Arena, while her friend and frequent collaborator Drake is reportedly preparing to perform a set in the middle of the famed Fountains of Bellagio outside the Bellagio hotel and resort.
