Trump asked top intel officials to DENY Russian collusion

On Monday, multiple current and former United States officials confirmed to CNN the account that Trump made the request of Coats and National Security Agency Director Adm. Michael Rogers after then-FBI Director James Comey revealed in March that the bureau had launched a probe into alleged collusion.

The report published on May 22 mentions Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats and Director of the National Security Agency Michael S Rogers, who Trump reportedly approached separately. The encounter between Rogers and Trump was documented in a contemporaneous memo.

Members of key congressional committees pledged Sunday to proceed with aggressive investigations into Russia's meddling in the USA election and any ties with the Trump campaign, saying the American people need a full airing as to why former FBI director James Comey was ousted. During the hearing, Comey confirmed that his agency was investigating possible Russia-Trump campaign collusion.

The White House told ABC News in response to the story that it "does not confirm or deny unsubstantiated claims based on illegal leaks from anonymous individuals".

Mr. Trump paid $38 million dollars even after taking into account large scale depreciation for construction, on an income of more than $150 million dollars, as well as paying tens of millions of dollars in other taxes such as sales and excise taxes and employment taxes and this illegally published return proves just that.
Smith called Trump's actions "an appalling abuse of power".

That same week, Trump telephoned Rogers to make a similar appeal. The Russian investigation memo has revealed that the president tried to meddle with the ongoing inquiry and research regarding his administration's tie-up with the Russian officials.

"The investigation would have always continued, and obviously, the termination of Comey would not have ended it", Spicer said, adding that the real story was the leaks of "private and highly classified conversations".

Iranian FM scorns Trump after speech, arms deal
Even as the president pledged to work alongside Middle Eastern nations, he put the onus for combatting terrorism on the region. Donald Trump signed an £84billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia yesterday on his first presidential foreign visit.

The announcement came after reports Comey kept memos about his interactions with Trump; that Trump made him feel uncomfortable; that Trump urged him to lay off the Russia investigation; that the investigation was reaching into the highest levels of the current White House; and that Trump told a Russian delegation after firing Comey that the pressure was off him now.

Ultimately, Trump made a decision to nominate Coats, rather than Rogers.

He was then asked about the Washington Post report by Sen.

Only half of the House needs to feel as though an impeachment hearing is necessary, and it will be very hard for anyone to side with Trump in this decision once Coats and Rogers formally come forward, especially if they can provide solid evidence.

"They have been able to get people - including inside of Central Intelligence Agency - to become treasonous, and frequently, individuals who go along that treasonous path do not even realize they're along that path until it gets to be a bit too late", Brennan explained. The source says Comey likely will be limited with what he will be able to say now that the Russian Federation probe is in the hands of Mueller. Similarly, it is unclear to what extent the Federal Bureau of Investigation has brought Coats up to speed on the probe's most sensitive findings.
