US Senate panel still negotiating with Flynn over documents: congressional aides

That person spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss confidential details of the committee's investigation.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says Donald Trump has shown his disrespect for the presidency if, as reported, he told Russian diplomats that FBI Director James Comey was a "nut job" whose firing relieves pressure on the president.

"Michael Flynn has not cooperated with the committee up to this point", Burr said, adding, however, that he has not received a "definitive answer" on whether Flynn and his lawyers will comply. Flynn's attorney Robert Kelner said in March that Flynn wants to tell his story "should the circumstances permit".

President Donald Trump abruptly fired Comey on May 9, dramatically ousting the nation's top law enforcement official in the midst of an FBI investigation into whether Trump's campaign had ties to Russia's meddling in the election that sent him to the White House. Richard Burr, and the ranking Democrat, Sen. Cummings' letter came the same day Flynn declined to provide documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee, citing his Fifth Amendment protection from self-incrimination.

The subpoena compelled Flynn to turn over private documents related to his relationships to foreign governments.

Asked about his opinion of the president now, Flynn reiterated his loyalty to Trump.

When asked by PCGamer about the servers, Bungie PC lead David Shaw said, "We do not have dedicated servers for Destiny 2 on PC". Activision and Bungie unveiled Destiny 2 gameplay for the first time on Thursday 18 May, with a special event in Los Angeles .

Burr said the committee has already completed more than 30 interviews with Trump campaign officials.

Nina Ginsberg, a veteran Washington defense attorney with extensive experience in national security cases, said that without an ironclad immunity deal from the committee, Flynn would have been exposed to questioning from investigators about any personal documents he gave up.

Flynn was sacked from his top post in the Trump Administration after just 25 days when it was revealed he had lied about his communications with Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak and then misled Vice President Mike Pence about the conversations. A Washington Post report, citing anonymous sources familiar with the matter, said a senior Trump adviser is now considered a "person of interest" in the law enforcement investigation into whether Trump's campaign associates coordinated with Russian Federation in an effort to sway the 2016 election. "I just got a message from the president to stay strong", Flynn said after the meal was over, according to two sources who are close to Flynn and are familiar with the conversation, which took place on April 25.

He made the same offer to the House committee, which is looking into Russian election interference and Trump campaign links.

As the President boarded Air Force One, Mr Comey agreed to testify publicly before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
