Iran's Rouhani says missile tests will continue 'if necessary'

This didn't happen, in part was because Iran's biggest trade deals were created to benefit state-controlled industries and firms affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, who control a large chunk of the Iranian economy.

"So far, Trump has shown commitment to the nuclear deal", ISNA quoted Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi as saying after a parliamentary briefing on the deal. "We are waiting for the government to be well established so we can pass judgment", Rouhani said. He said America is prepared to stand with them but the region can not wait for American power to crush the enemy. As a result of that, President Donald Trump immediately sanctioned 13 individuals and 12 entities under the US-Iran sanctions authority.

"From Lebanon to Iraq to Yemen, Iran funds, arms and trains terrorists, militias and other extremist groups that spread destruction and chaos across the region", Mr Trump said in Riyadh on Sunday.

In addition to increasing the voter turnout numbers during his speech, which can not be independently verified, Rouhani also focused on the lack of an election in the land of its arch-enemy, Saudi Arabia.

He said the United States and its allies "should know that Iran is a democratic, stable and powerful country" and that it promoted "peace, good neighborliness, and the creation of a world opposed to violence and extremism".

Rouhani also criticized a meeting U.S. President Donald Trump attended in Saudi Arabia, describing it as a "show-off" that "will not have any political and practical values".

"You can't solve terrorism just by giving your people's money to a superpower", Rouhani said.

"Our missiles are for defence and peace", Rouhani said, adding that the USA expectations from Iran to halt its defensive missile programme is "an illusion". "In the 12th round of presidential elections, people marked an incomparable 45-million turnout for the first time in Iran's history", Dr Rouhani continued. "I hope it can settle so that we can have a better judgement about those in Washington", said Rouhani. "They should have polling stations in place for the people and let the rulers not be on a hereditary basis". We gave them a lifeline and we not only gave them a lifeline, we gave them wealth and prosperity.

Trump Calls Those Behind Manchester Attack 'Losers'
We know Melania doesn't mind holding hands because there are photographs of the two doing so during this same trip. One point of contention: the fate of east Jerusalem, which Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast war.

Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian over the weekend congratulated President Rouhani on his victory in the presidential election, emphasizing the friendly nature of Yerevan's relations with Tehran. The elections remain tightly controlled, however, and many candidates are excluded during a pre-election vetting process.

He also said Iran would continue with its ballistic missile program.

Already fragile diplomatic and trade ties between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shi'ite-dominated Iran were severed a year ago after Saudi Arabia executed a Shi'ite cleric and as a result, protesters ransacked the Saudi embassy in Iran.

Iran, which held presidential elections Friday, is a sharp contrast, Zarif noted, to the inherited monarchy that rules in Saudi Arabia. But it is by no means the only country with such a record; Saudi Arabia, Iran's bitter Sunni rival, is among nations also at fault.

He also ridiculed the $110 billion arms deal the United States and Saudi Arabia announced during Trump's visit, suggesting it was Saudi Arabia's way of making amends for the September 11 attacks. In Israel on Monday, he warned of "the threat posed by Iran" through the possibility of it acquiring nuclear weapons and its support of militant groups.

The US stance against Iran is "deceptive and destructive" and attempts to undermine the sovereignty of the regional states besides supporting Israel, Qasemi said.

But now we have President Donald Trump in the USA, and he does not seem to wants to win Iran. Anytime we have a technical need to test-launch our missiles, we will do so. "We will not wait for them and their permission".
