LeBron James Says | Kyrie Irving 'was born for these moments'

Avery Bradley rattled in a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer, as the Boston Celtics clawed their way back into the Eastern Conference final with a 111-108 win over Cleveland Sunday.

A day later, James' most vocal critics - like Fox Sports 1 analyst Skip Bayless - have continued to take shots at him. "So I am happy it happened now. He was born for these moments". He capped his blistering 19-point outburst with a 3 in the final second of the quarter and celebrated at mid-court by pretending to put two pistols back in his holster. In Game 3, they didn't quite get that.

The Celtics came into the contest missing star player Isaiah Thomas, who is out for the remainder of the post-season because of a hip injury, and aware that the Cavaliers had lost just one home game to an Eastern team in the playoffs since 2015.

The Cavs, meanwhile, wouldn't be on the cusp of the Finals without Irving. He totaled 11 points, six rebounds, six assists and six turnovers in 45 minutes on Sunday after entering the game with 30 or more points in eight consecutive playoff games.

James did not score in the fourth quarter.

"He put us on his back and carried us", Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said.

Irving said he was driven by the thought of the Cavs seeing their series lead vanish.

"In order to be successful you have to defend, especially against a team like this who move the ball, share the ball, move bodies, and they are very precise with their offensive sets", James said. "We can not go to Boston 2-2". "We needed everything tonight". He rolled it late in the third quarter of Game 4 when he stepped on Terry Rozier's foot.

Irving stayed on the floor for several seconds before sitting up and re-tying his sneaker. Thomas received an outpouring of support across the National Basketball Association, but it was on him to keep the top-seeded Celtics moving ahead.

"We've been playing so well, but like I said, you let a team grab momentum like that, you nearly knew that that last shot was going to go in".

I have to say thanks for their commitment, their attitude and passion, and their will to do something great this season. Sunderland scored first but Willian, Eden Hazard , Pedro and Batshuayi found the back of the net for Chelsea .

Stevens said Thomas may consult with two additional specialists. "Al (Horford) did a great job of getting me open and Marcus (Smart) made a great pass and I was able to knock down the shot".

Next, some guy named Jonas Jerebko, who spends enough time on the bench to practice shots from there, got on the floor and went 4 for 4. But we'll get there.

Kyrie Irving paced the Cleveland offence with 29 points and Kevin Love added 28 points and 10 rebounds.

Irving did not show any noticeable limp following the game as he walked down the hallway, stopping to hug and kiss friends and family following his performance.

"I think the best part about it from all of our standpoints was how inspiring it's been to have a guy that's done all this and accomplished all this and is willing to literally go out and leave it all out there", Stevens said. Boston apparently won't go down without a fight as some previously expected, but another outright win in Cleveland is a dubious proposition. "That's what I've got to say about my performance".

"We decided were going to go out and play hard, swinging". But it's citing low-level athletic success as something that alone makes you qualified to comment on a dominant professional athlete like James that feels insane. We have to play a lot better in Game 4.

"Irving was incredible at the end of the third, and then obviously LeBron had all those baskets in the fourth".

"They called them", he said of the officials.

Overall, the Cavaliers are 26-6 SU over their past 32 playoff games, including five wins by double-digit margins this spring, but have produced middling results as double-digit chalk this season, losing outright in their past two and going 6-8 ATS in their past 14 overall.
