Saudi Arabia and UAE pledge $100M to women's fund Ivanka Trump supports

As voters in Iran danced in the streets, celebrating the landslide re-election of a moderate as president, US President Donald Trump stood in front of a gathering of leaders from across the Muslim world and called on them to isolate a nation he said had "fuelled the fires of sectarian conflict and terror".

"Our missiles are for our defence and for peace, they are not offensive".

Netanyahu called Trump "a true friend" to Israel and expressed optimism about the president's role in the Middle East peace process.

President Donald Trump became a meme again over the weekend.

He has taken a tougher line on settlements than Israeli officials had expected, urging restraint though not calling for a full halt to construction.

Trump's visit to Jerusalem has been laden with religious symbolism.

Mr Trump didn't speak of the need for political reform; he referred to his "principled realism", in terms of which he supported the political status quo.

Speaking of Tel Aviv to Riyadh, at least one USA president has made that trip.
