First full-length Game of Thrones season 7 trailer released

Queen Cersei Lannister brutally seized power and now sits on the Iron Throne, but her rule is already at stake.

In the trailer, Cersie (Lena Headey) tells Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) that enemies have surrounded them from all sides and they need to defeat them.

Daenerys Targaryen, meanwhile, is finally setting sail for Westeros after six seasons of wandering around Essos, amassing armies and displaying questionable political acumen.

The trailer's ending is a wide shot of a dragon flying over hundreds of troops and horses on a battlefield - with narration announcing that "the great war is here".

Game of Thrones season 7 premieres July 16, 2017.

It seems a good bet that Ser Davos is referring to the threat of the Night King, whose terrifying visage is featured in key art for Season 7.

NBA Finals: The Warriors aren't the only team that has improved
The Warriors have the No. 1 defensive efficiency at 99.1 points allowed per 100 possessions; the Cavs are No. 3 at 104.6. In 2015, the Warriors shocked the NBA by spoiling LeBron's homecoming destiny in Cleveland and winning the NBA Finals .

The trailer for the seventh series of Game of Thrones has been released, warning fans the "great war begins" in July.

"For a long time we've been talking about "the wars to come", show-runner David Benioff said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. We see a glimpse of a major battle unfolding, as a dragon flies over marching men.

The trailer also gives us our first look at the throne room in Dragonstone, the ancestral seat of House Targaryen. The trailer hints on the massive showdown between humans and white walkers.

Note that the King in the North, Jon Snow, finally gets his hands around Littlefinger's throat. What will happen to Cersei now that she has cemented her grip on the Iron Throne?

What do you think about the storyline picking up steam?
