The next game, they played Missouri State and won that contest 7-3.

The SEC Championship Game will air at 3 p.m. on December 2 at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

"It's four outstanding teams that have had great seasons", Van Horn said. "We ran into a really hot team yesterday".

The TCU football team's September 9 game at Arkansas will have a 2:30 p.m. kickoff and be televised on CBS.

Fans who want to see TCU open its season against Arkansas won't have to dig through the TV guide to find the right channel. For the most part we played solid baseball. "And now that we're in the postseason, I think we're going to continue to ride out this wave of momentum".

Arkansas and Missouri State played on a Tuesday night.

Missouri State went 18-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference to win the regular-season title.

Arkansas Razorbacks coach Dave Van Horn isn't one of them. OSU had to sweep a doubleheader from Oklahoma the week before just to make the tournament.

A year later one of the coup's leaders, General Omar Torrijos , promoted him to head the feared G-2 military intelligence unit. Noriega was toppled in a December 1989 U.S. military invasion, the largest U.S. military operation since the Vietnam war.

Van Horn seemed inclined to stick with that format but said it's not etched in stone. Oral Roberts then won the final two matchups by scores of 4-1 and 11-7.

All other SEC games appearing on CBS will be announced six to 12 days before their scheduled date.

Van Horn's Razorbacks have played all three Fayetteville Regional opponents in various regionals past.

"We're savoring this", Holliday said. "They stuck with us last year through a tough year, and the crowds were great this year".

The Cowboys crowded together inside the Reynolds Stadium locker room Monday and cheered their destination for the NCAA Tournament: Arkansas and the Fayetteville Regional.

"You hope the momentum and experience of the SEC Tournament carries over into this weekend", Van Horn said. "If we'd gone there and been two and out, that would have been a little disappointing".

Instead, three formidable, old regional rivals come to Fayetteville that the Razorbacks, SEC Tournament and SEC West runners-up, know well.
