Instagram celebrates Pride Month with a very rainbowy sticker set

The White House is looking a little colorless this June.

"Every June, leaders from all walks of life recognize Pride month and stand together in support of LGBTQ people, however President Trump chose to start this Pride month with deafening silence", said Sarah Kate Ellis, President and CEO of GLAAD, in a statement.

According to the 2016 announcement, he made the declaration on May 31.

"This month we celebrate and honor the #LGBTQ community", she added. The group pointed out that Trump declared June to be "Great Outdoors Month", "National Ocean Month" and "National Homeownership Month" with no mention of the LGBTQ community.

Pride Month kicked off Thursday, and as was to sadly be expected - following eight years of President Obama publicly marking the occasion and treating LGBT people with dignity and respect - it was crickets at the Donald Trump White House. "I am proud to support my LGBTQ friends and the LGBTQ Americans who have made vast contributions to our society and economy", read the second tweet.

LGBT Pride Month commemorates the Stonewall Inn riots.

It's been a big week for Trump, what with attempting to recover from apparently misspelling "coverage" on Twitter and withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement, so this other extremely important fact may have just slipped his mind.
