Kevin Durant and LeBron James have had remarkably similar careers

Kevin Durant wasn't the only star of Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

The negative narrative will always be Kevin Durant came to Golden State to join a slew of all-stars to help pave the way to his first National Basketball Association title.

"You take one of the best teams that we had ever assembled a year ago, that we saw in the regular season and in the postseason, and then in the offseason you add a high-powered offensive talent like that and a great basketball IQ like that, that's what stands out", James said. "So we'll get better".

Raiders punter Marquette King offered Warriors point guard Stephen Curry some advice on his celebration form from when he kicked his leg up in celebration.

Twice the Cavaliers allowed Kevin Durant to dribble down the middle of the court uncontested for dunks because they were paying too much attention to shooters at the three-point line.

Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue followed Brown on the conference call and said his team has to play better offensively, starting with cutting down on turnovers, to improve defensively. That was even more crucial because he was pretty much the only Warriors player capable of defending LeBron James in one-on-one situations.

Golden State controlled the paint from tip-off, outscoring the Cavaliers by a margin of 56-30.

The Golden State Warriors entered their third straight National Basketball Association finals Thursday evening in a familiar position.

Champions League: Fans head home after Cardiff final
The match, between Turin club Juventus and Real Madrid, was being played in Cardiff , Wales. That effort was eclipsed seven minutes later by one of the all-time great final goals.

"Everybody's probably going to talk about it, and the number wasn't good in terms of 3-for-16, but we have asked Klay Thompson to do a lot throughout the course of our playoff run so far", Brown said.

We're not sure if Durant still holds these feelings for Rihanna, but we know she's definitely not a Warriors fan. "We have to have the mindset of a must win, because (Thursday's) great game nearly means nothing if we lose on Sunday". They were able to get out in transition and score easy baskets.

Being outshot is nothing new for the Cavaliers.

The Warriors beat Cleveland for the 2015 crown but squandered a 3-1 lead past year as the Cavs made the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history. You are talking one of the best players in the game.

And after a team has been blown out in the playoffs, history shows that team typically tries to make a statement in Game 2 that things will be different. J.R. Smith made a 3-pointer a minute and a half into the game, then he and fellow starter Tristan Thompson were scoreless the rest of the way.

Davao Jones Academy head coach Rael Diaz, meanwhile, sees things differently and believes that the Cavs will get revenge in Game 2 to tie the trilogy series. Despite a 59-50 rebounding edge, Lue was frustrated with the 14 offensive boards the Warriors had.

"They're a good team. And that's what gave Kevin a chance to get five offensive rebounds". It was only one game. In the first games of the 2015 and 2016, the Cavaliers lost.

Using each player's total points, rebounds, and assists per 36 minutes, as well as Player Efficiency Rating, which measures a player's all-around contributions, the two stars have produced almost identical career arcs, with both peaking and declining at the same ages.
