India eye semi-final berth in Champions Trophy clash against Sri Lanka

"India have the momentum with them going into the match against Sri Lanka".

In an indication of the level of respect he is already held in by Indian captain Kohli, Pandya was prompted up the batting order ahead of the great MS Dhoni and responded by smashing 20 not out of just six balls in Sunday's 124-run victory over Pakistan in Birmingham. The players are very well aware of the areas where they must improve and the Indian team is a very good fielding unit and they will hope that it was just the one odd day where the players had butterfingers.

Sri Lanka would play without any pressure, Mathews felt.

Sri Lanka ended up on the receiving end of a 96-run defeat against South Africa in their opening match and will need a quick turnaround in their fortunes as they face a strong Indian side.

Mathews, who missed the South Africa match due to a calf injury, pulled no punches as he slammed Tharanga and his team-mates for failing to keep up with the required over rate. Between 2007 and 2014, they played in five major finals. They will no doubt be strengthened by the return of their skipper Angelo Mathews but they will have to do something about their slovenly over rate which has got their stand-in skipper Upul Tharanga suspended for couple of games. "So that has been addressed, and it will not happen again".

London Bridge attack: What we know about the attackers
The third attacker has been named as Youssef Zaghba , an Italian national of Moroccan descent, who was living in east London . Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera said Zaghba was born in Fez in January 1995 to a Moroccan father and Italian mother.

Sri Lanka met India in the semi-finals of the 2013 Champions Trophy and were a very competitive side with the likes of Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene holding fort in the middle order back then.

"Given the form that India is in, it is likely to emerge victor even if it plays to 70 per-cent potential".

I would personally like this young Sri Lanka side to walk out at The Oval and play with the arrogance and abandon of youth. As Pakistan showed on Wednesday, a big loss doesn't necessarily mean tournament over, so Sri Lanka will take confidence from that.

"I call it pathetic because of the whole team, and the captain was warned several times, and there's no excuse at all but to take responsibility for that because nobody else can take responsibility on it. If people react to it differently, then it becomes an issue, but if everyone is supportive of it, then you have no issues at all", Kohli said.

"Shami has not played 50-over cricket for a long time and I am glad he bowled really well in the practice games".
