Speculation had been mounting ever since Capcom registered the United States trademark for Monster Hunter: World, spotted by the keen eyed folks at Nintendo Insider. The series has been released on handhelds for a while now and it has practically remain an exclusive to the Nintendo platforms for a decade. While not many details are known about Monster Hunter yet, it was also announced that the release date is slated for early 2018 for the PlayStation 4.
