Shark Attacks Mother Of 3, Bites Off Arm While Snorkeling In Bahamas

A NORTH Carolina woman who lost her arm during a shark attack while snorkeling in waters near Athol Island has credited her survival to the "Grace of God".

Tiffany and James were on the last stop of a cruise last week in the Bahamas when they made a decision to go snorkeling in a shallow reef.

"It just felt like I had bumped into something, so I just casually turned to my right to look ... my whole arm in its mouth, just floating there", she said, according to WTVD-TV.

Johnson got free from the shark by losing her arm.

"I felt this tangible peace on me and it was so thick, that I was just calm", she said, noting that she began praying as soon as it happened.

"He hung up the phone and we just started weeping", said the Johnsons.

She said that the shark held on to her for a few minutes before completely severing part of her limb, but that she survived after being given "supernatural God-given strength" and her husband jumped into the water to help.

Secret Service says it doesn't have any Trump tapes
When he testified before the Senate last week, Comey said, "Lordy, I hope there are tapes" of the conversations. Trump generated curiosity about recordings last month on Twitter.

Tiffany Johnson lived to tell the tale of staring down a shark and watching as her arm was torn "clean off".

It was unclear exactly what kind of shark attacked Johnson, though she said it was gray and medium sized - possibly a tiger shark. "They struggled there for a second and as she tried to pull away, the shark bit her arm off".

Johnson's husband, J.J. Johnson, was in the boat when the attack occurred.

Mrs Johnson recalled seeing the shark's mouth clamped on to her arm. Her husband, hearing her screams, swam out to meet her and help her get back to the boat and up the ladder.

"I didn't feel any pain, I just felt like I had run into something".

On Friday she had her third and perhaps final surgery.

'I'll have another chance, ' she said.
