A fired-up Murray reeled off the next five games to seal a commanding 6-1 set. Kei played a poor game to [allow me to] break. Murray isn't coming off his best match of the tournament, but he still managed to win 45 percent of his return points and broke seven times.

But the eighth seed hit back to triumph 0-6 6-4 6-4 6-0 and reach his seventh grand slam quarter-final.

He failed to confirm that he will run for a fourth term, as expected, next year. Most received fines but at least 50 people were also handed 10-day jail terms.

Murray came out on top in their last meeting in Paris but Wawrinka is not anxious about the result in 2016 and thinks he can get on top of the Scot this year.
