Why Gwyneth Paltrow is "not sure" about acting anymore

Why Gwyneth Paltrow is

Earlier this month she confessed to Jimmy Kimmel, "I don't know what the f**k we talk about [on Goop]!" The former lovers were in a relationship for almost three years before they broke up in 1997. "I think that ship has sailed, Corey", Paltrow said.

No matter if her acting career is being placed on the backburner, we'll always love Paltrow for her standout roles in films like Emma, Shakespeare in Love, and The Royal Tenenbaums. She opened up about her famous ex during her appearance on Howard Stern's Sirius XM show in January 2015.

In an interview with Extra she shared: 'I'm not sure how I'll feel about acting going forward. "Sometimes she asks me to close her door". "It's taken me until 40 to get my head out of my a**". "You can't make that decision when you're 22 years old", the actress said.

But that's exactly what the Oscar-winning actress did on Thursday. When Lauer questioned Paltrow on using the past tense to describe her acting career, she responded by saying: "I'm still going to do a little bit here and there, but this really requires nearly all of my time". She was recently named CEO of the brand that she founded in 2008 and says she spends all day in the office guiding her team of 85 people.

Brownback signs school funding bill
Brownback acted Thursday on the bill, which would phase in a $293 million increase in aid to public schools over two years. The Kansas Supreme Court ruled in March that the state's $4 billion a year in education funding is inadequate.

The beauty - who has children Apple, 13, and Moses, 11, with her Martin - admitted she's instead relishing the challenge of building her own company.

"Apple is pretty great", Paltrow gushed.

"In order to build the brand I want to build, its scalability is limited if I connect to it", she said at the time (via the Guardian). "It was brutal and a really hard year for me". I was really trying to grow into this awkward gawky body, which I think I half grew into.
