Warriors Troll The Cavs With "Quickie" Shirts

NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant rode on a different bus with his mom.

The trek through town ended on the shores of Lake Merritt where front office personnel, coach Steve Kerr and each player addressed the crowd during an 80-minute rally.

These were the Warriors' finals to lose as they have been the league's favorite all year to win the championship.

It's the team's second title in three years, and the last time the Warriors held a championship parade in 2015, there were about 1 million people witnessing the events.

Despite that record-setting 73-win regular season in 2016, the Warriors watched the Cleveland Cavaliers and James become the first team ever to come back from a 3-1 Finals deficit.

The Warriors have 10 free agents this summer, including Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, but neither superstar sounds as if he's going anywhere. Oakland was packed with Warriors fans who were ready to party.

Thousands of Golden State Warriors fan roused in the wee hours of Thursday and made the trek to downtown Oakland where a sea of blue and gold heralded the 2017 championship parade.

Warriors general manager Bob Myers said to NBC Sports Bay Area during Thursday's victory parade festivities, "Jerry West, gone".

"I agree with that description", Curry said, "if you remove the "et" from asset". I'm locked back in. "I answered I wouldn't go".

President Trump confirms he is under investigation
Cohen has received a subpoena from one of the congressional committees looking into the Russian Federation issue. Trump's tweet comes less than a day after a odd statement from a senior official in his administration.

Thompson reminded him he had a bad shooting night that game and respectfully asked Myers to think twice before paying him a home visit again.

Residents of Oakland, which lost one of its other beloved teams, the Raiders, to Las Vegas, are still reeling from a police scandal and mourning a fatal warehouse fire.

But Thursday the city will make headlines for good news.

"We're going to do what our leader [Curry] does", Iguodala told Amick. I also find it amusing because it seems to me Lebron James started the "super team" thing we see in the National Basketball Association right now.

One day you're a loser, the other a champion and NBA Finals MVP.

"It's a bittersweet moment today", said Carolina Gallegos, 32, an Oakland resident.

That is because the Warriors boast an intimidating starting lineup featuring four All-Stars in their 20s who are likely to be with the team for years to come.

Kerr just finished the third season of his five-year, $25 million deal with Golden State.

"I do know me and KD had a conversation along with Draymond and Klay and Andre past year before he even showed up that that was kind of the identity of who we are as a team that we understand how important it is, the guys that are here", Curry said.
