YotaPhone 3 Announced With Prices For Two Variants

It's been a fair while since we've talked about Yotaphone at Ausdroid, and I last reviewed one a bit over two years ago. Yota Devices later collaborated with China's ZTE in September 2015 on the YotaPhone 3 with plans to launch the device in the first quarter of 2016.

The YotaPhone 2 was released in late 2014 for some regions, but the North American release was cancelled. The successor to the YotaPhone 2, which made some waves when it came with an E Ink display on its back, will also feature a rear E Ink display, with an AMOLED screen on the front, The Verge says.

Word on the street is that Yota Devices will start shipping the YotaPhone 3 in China come September while pre-orders with start in Russian Federation around the same time. It's said that the YotaPhone 3 will be available in 64GB and 128GB flavors with a price tag of $350 and $450 respectively.

Saudi-Turkish ties strained over differing views on Qatar
Despite the clear illegitimacy of the website, Malta's new foreign affairs ministry chose to issue a statement to banish any doubts.

As far as hardware goes, the YotaPhone 2 was strictly a mid-range device by 2015's standards.

News of the third-generation of the YotaPhone came from the general director of BaoliYota Technology at the China-Russia Expo in the Chinese city of Harbin yesterday, and a more expansive presentation of the phone is due to take place towards the end of summer. No word as yet whether the YotaPhone 3 is going to be released in North America.
