Arsenal star 'deeply frustrated' by contract situation

As a outcome a host of Premier League clubs which includes long-time admirers Liverpool have shown interest in acquiring the England worldwide, but according to the Daily Mirror he's keen to remain at the Emirates, though is disappointed talks have yet to begin.

Liverpool target Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's Arsenal future has become shrouded in a massive cloud of doubt recently after the Telegraph reported that no formal contract offer has been made to the player.

The lack of movement comes as a major shock given Oxlade-Chamberlain only has 12 months left on his deal.

The same report states that the situation has prompted uncertainty about the midfielder's future at The Emirates, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City among the clubs keeping tabs on his situation.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was one of Arsenal's top performers during last season's run-in, as manager Arsene Wenger switched to a back three and finished the campaign strongly with the FA Cup.
