Michael Phelps to race against a great white shark

The program is aptly named Phelps Vs Shark: Great Gold Vs Great White, and it will test the swimming prowess of Michael Phelps against a great white shark.

In this episode entitled Phelps vs. Shark: The Great Golden against the Great White, Phelps "will challenge the most formidable predator in the oceans", promises Shark Week in his trailer.

A statement from Discovery Channel says: "They are one of the fastest andmost efficient predators on the planet".

"Thirty-nine world records. 23 Olympic golds".

In a press release, Discovery Channel called the event "so monumental no one has ever attempted it before'".

Seth Rollins is on the cover of WWE 2K18
WWE Superstar Seth Rollins announced he will be the cover athlete for WWE 2K18 in an appearance Monday on SportsCenter . Rollins mentioned that he has played video games his entire life and to see his face on the cover is weird for him.

When the news broke that Michael Phelps would be racing a great white shark for Shark Week, people were a bit confused, but extremely excited. The world's most decorated athlete takes on the ocean's most efficient predator: "Phelps v. Shark - the race is on!" (I wonder why?) Details of the race's structure are unclear.

Compared to Phelps whose his size 14 feet, dubbed as human flippers, along with his larger-than-average sized hands that give him the privilege over his human competitors, the sharks have millions of years of evolutionary advantage... and gills.

It had been assumed that Phelps would be involved in some form of hosting capacity.

"It is a forgone conclusion as to who is going to come out on top", Tooni Mahto of the Australian Marine Conservation Society told BBC Radio 5 live.

In all fairness to Team Shark, they've never been tested like Phelps.
