Tim Tebow mercilessly trolled by opposing minor league team

Here's why Tim Tebow never would have succeeded as a wide receiver in the NFL.

Thomas Szapucki (1-1) went six innings, allowing two runs and three hits to take the tough loss in the South Atlantic League game.

The Fireflies stumbled on Saturday but still remain a half game in front of the Greenville Drive with just one game left in the first half of the season. The Fireflies clinch the division and a playoff spot with a win on Sunday.

Tebow happens to be an outfielder for the Fireflies-the Class A affiliate team for the New York Mets-and on Saturday during his first at bat, he lost hold of his bat and it went careening into the stands.

Death toll climbs to 30 in London Grenfell Tower fire
If that death toll is confirmed, it would make the Grenfell Tower blaze the deadliest in London since the Second World War. Their search for missing residents has been stalled because of safety concerns over the tower's condition.

The RiverDogs added insurance in the eighth on back-to-back doubles from third baseman Angel Aguilar and right fielder Isiah Gilliam, making it 5-1.

RiverDogs starter Nick Green surrendered just one run in the first inning then settled in to toss five innings while striking out four, walking just one, and not factoring into the decision.

ON THE SEASON: Tebow is 45 of 201 on the season with 21 RBIs and 66 strikeouts.
