Why Keshia Knight Pulliam Is Supporting Bill Cosby

With jury deliberations continuing Wednesday in Pennsylvania, Pulliam appeared on "Today" to explain why she publicly supported Cosby at his trial and reveal how she'll feel if the verdict comes in as "Guilty". Cosby's spokesman, Andrew Wyatt, read the statement from longtime Temple University official Marguerite Jackson, who said Constand told her of a plan to falsely accuse a "high-profile person" of sexual assault so she could sue and get money.

Cosby is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault. The resulting sequestration of the seven men and five women on Cosby's jury - along with six alternates - has made the 79-year-old comic legend's trial all the more complicated.

Sequestered, they are now entering their third day of deliberations. From their cloistered deliberation room, they've transmitted one note to the judge asking to clarify a legal term and three requesting lengthy rehashes of evidence and testimony.

In closing statements, the prosecution portrayed the actor as a sexual predator who deliberately drugged 44-year-old Canadian Andrea Constand so she would be unable to resist his advances at his Philadelphia home.

She also asked Cosby's representatives for free tickets for her and her family to see Cosby's stand-up show in Toronto in August, half a year after the alleged assault.

Bill Cosby leaves the Montgomery County Courthouse during his sexual assault trial, Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in Norristown, Pa. I pray for her. The comedian said in depositions that he gave her the common allergy drug Benadryl and insisted the encounter was consensual. Cosby, who is legally blind and carries a cane, has arrived in court each day with someone from the world of entertainment.
