Rajinikanth to float own party to enter politics?

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on Saturday lashed out at superstar Rajinikanth once again.

The actor, who met his fans in May, had asked them to "prepare for war" hinting that he might consider entering politics.

In a similar development, the BJP leader on May 23 attacked the actor saying that he knows nothing about the Constitution and should "better stick to the cinema since he can deliver dialogues well and entertain people".

Swamy's comments came in response to Rajinikanth who said that he has been in discussion with political leaders and will announce when things are finalised. "I have not denied it". We are discussing and yet to take decision.

North Korea: Otto Warmbier's death 'is a mystery to us'
North Korea is known for illegally detaining US citizens on false allegations of spying and anti-state crimes. Warmbier arrived in North Korea from Beijing as a tourist on December 25, 2015.

Swamy further said that Rajinikanth does not fit in the current political situation and also lamented the idea of having movie stars in politics.

On the sets of superstar Rajinikanth's film, a worker was electrocuted when he stepped on a wire. I am holding discussions over entering politics. "I'm not surprised by his inclination, or even determination, because there is a huge gap in Tamil Nadu today, with more than 50% of the Tamil people, Tamil voters, and maybe 75% of the youths wanting to move away from both these Kazhagams, DMK and ADMK".

He had said, "When a war comes, they will come to the rescue of their motherland". I have a profession, work, duty and so do you. Go to your places, do your duty, take care of your vocation. "Let us face the war when it comes", he had said.
