Barack Obama & Family Go White Water Rafting on Bali Vacation!

Former President Barack Obama and his family are visiting Ubud, Bali.

The 55-year-old former president, along with his wife Michelle and their daughters Malia and Sasha, were spotted enjoying some time together on Monday (June 27) in Bali, Indonesia.

Post-presidency Obama. So chill.

As Anne Summers wrote of her disappointment after Obama was paid $535,000 for a gig at Wall Street, "Is Barack Obama really telling us he no longer has common cause with the people who put him in the White House?"

The former USA president had lived in Jakarta for four years, from 1967 to 1971, having accompanied his mother and stepfather to Indonesia.

But, no lazing by the pool for this family - Barack, Michelle, Sasha and Malia kicked off their Indonesia trip with a spot of white water rafting.

The most memorable seasons have been fuelled by controversy, passion and a fierce rivalry sometimes spilling into outright enmity. Hamilton "was leading in Baku when the safety auto was deployed for a second time". "It's been obvious for some time", he said.

The family reportedly will wind up in Jakarta, where the ex-POTUS lived as a boy.

Their weekend also included a visit to the Jatiluwih rice terraces in Tabanan on Bali Island. Obama is expected to travel to the island of Java to speak at the 4th Indonesian Diaspora Congress in Jakarta on July 1.

With so many incredible journeys already in the bag since the presidency, where have the Obamas headed for their latest epic vacation adventure?

According to reports, the former First Family will spend a couple of days in Bali, where they are staying at the luxurious Four Seasons resort in Ubud.

It's something of a prodigal son moment for Obama, who lived in Indonesia with his mother Ann Dunham, in 1967 when he was six after Dunham remarried an Indonesian man.
