Accused NSA leaker could face trial in October

The 25-year old is facing prosecution under the espionage law for sending those documents to an internet website called "The Intercept".

The judge states that victor has no criminal record and only has one count against her so far.

Victor allegedly leaked a classified NSA report that purportedly offered details of Russian intelligence officials interfering in the 2016 election.

Winner's Attorney:, Titus Nicholas explained, "Well what makes the case unique is the fact that we're dealing with national security information".

The report claims Russian military intelligence hacked at least one unnamed voting software supplier in the United States, and attempted to gain access to more than 100 local election officials prior to last November's general election.

Marissa Mowry, 25, is being held without bail at the Hillsborough County Jail, according to the sheriff's department. Mowry was investigated by detectives who finished their investigation and arrested Mowry on Tuesday afternoon.

Her trial date has been set for October 23.

Carli Rodriguez-Feo, of the Justice Department's Litigation Security Group, will help with motions and orders connected to classified documents, the judge said.

Attorneys should receive security clearance by August 25, Epps added.

The charge against victor carries a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine.
