Bubbles, drums and tears: Chaos outside court as Cosby jury deliberates

The judge who oversaw U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah's federal bribery and fraud trial a year ago booted a juror after his colleagues on the panel reported they were unable to reach a verdict due to one of their own refusing to deliberate.

Prosecutors argued Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted Constand at his home near Philadelphia in 2004.

"I have no ability to do anything other than what I've done in this case", O'Neill told Cosby's lawyer, Brian McMonagle.

It appears that select jurors will not budge which will force Judge O'Neill to declare the case against Cosby a mistrial. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and did not testify during the trial.

More than a dozen excerpts from Cosby's deposition, including the "friends" comment and his acknowledgment that he'd gone "somewhere between permission and rejection" during a previous encounter with Constand.

For four days and nearly 30 hours, the jurors for Bill Cosby's #Criminal Trial have been deliberating the accusations by Andrea Constand that she was sexually assaulted by Cosby in 2004.

They went back behind closed doors until 9 p.m., when O'Neill sent them back to their hotel for the night, with instructions to return Friday at 9 a.m.

The 79-year-old entertainer did not take the stand at his trial, but prosecutors used his deposition testimony - given in 2005 and 2006 as part of Constand's civil suit against him - as evidence.

A spokesman for Bill Cosby has invited a family of four supporters to meet with the comedian as he awaits a jury's verdict at his suburban Philadelphia sexual assault trial. He told the jury that the reason they were there is because it's kind of hard to consent to sexual activity when your incapacitated.

Constand is one of more than 50 women who have accused Cosby of drugging or assaulting him or both.

Akinfeev failed to clear a bouncing ball, allowing Lozano to sneak in and score the victor seven minutes into the second half. Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring from the penalty spot with his 75th worldwide goal in the 33rd minute.

Constand's lawyer, Dolores Troiani, told reporters that Jackson is "not telling the truth" and faulted Wyatt for circulating Jackson's statement while jurors were deliberating.

According to Mason, Constand said she had gone to Cosby's house after dinner in mid-January 2004.

"That's not how the system works", she said.

Deadspin's Diana Moskovitz, who has been covering the Cosby trial for Jezebel, observed a number of vocal Cosby supporters outside the Norristown courthouse on Thursday; one, who only gave his name as "Garvey V", held a sign that read "Free Mr. Cosby".

O'Neill said the alternates are permitted to use their laptops while they wait for the verdict. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison on each charge.

Following the jury's morning note, one of Cosby's accusers, Jewel Allison, began crying.

Her mother, Gianna Constand, pulled a cloth from her pocket to wipe away tears Wednesday as she listened to the testimony.

The accusers include Lili Bernard, who says Cosby sexually assaulted her before giving her a one-time role on "The Cosby Show" in 1992.

They will get back to it Friday morning.
