Ryan Reynolds Welcomes 'Deadpool 2' Co-Star With Star Wars Homage

Julian Dennison didn't choose the superhero life, the superhero life chose him. The news of the Hunt For The Wilderpeople actor joining the sequel was announced via Ryan Reynolds' hugely entertaining Instagram channel earlier today, complete with an image of them both on set on the first week of shooting.

"In the caption he teased a future mash-up saying the pair were "[staring] off into our lovely future together #RickBakerPool #NZ".

The film's director is helming Thor: Ragnarok and now Julian Dennison, its young breakout performer, has joined the cast of Deadpool 2.

In an Empire Magazine interview with Deadpool - the character, not Ryan Reynolds - late previous year, Marvel's merc with a mouth revealed that his favourite movie of 2016 just so happened to be a little film called Hunt For The Wilderpeople.

Cluster bombs kill at least 15 in eastern Syria
It was not immediately clear how either the Observatory or Deir Ezzour 24 identified the aircraft responsible for the strike. USA -led forces fighting ISIS in Syria are again facing reports that an airstrike might have killed dozens of civilians.

Dennis came to prominence starring in the phenomenal (seriously, watch it if you haven't) 2016 Taika Waititi film 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople'.

Deadpool 2 is due out in theaters June 1, 2018.

Dennison confirmed the news on his own social media feeds, and Waititi is joyfully floored by the reveal. There's no word just yet on who Dennison will be playing.
