Scattered showers and storms likely each afternoon through Friday — FIRST ALERT FORECAST

A few of the normally cooler spots may dip down into the upper 40s by daybreak! The best chance for evening showers and isolated storms Tuesday will be across southwest Montana especially around Bozeman. It will begin to feel more like June with high temperatures in the upper 80s, mostly sunny skies and southerly winds up to 17 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour. Expect highs in the mid to upper 80s today with low again in the 60s.

Comfortable summer weather is expected across western Montana through Thursday, although a few showers and thundershowers are still possible.

It is going to be a picture flawless Tuesday with abundant sunshine, light winds, low humidity and dry conditions.

US President Trump's travel ban to go into effect
It was indefinitely blocked back in March , but now US President Donald Trump's controversial travel ban is back - in parts. This time, courts blocked parts of the new order before it went into effect, including the cap of 50,000.

Friday: Sunshine, mixing with afternoon clouds, hot and humid, with the chance for a late day thunderstorm. We'll continue to see spotty showers and thunderstorms through Monday and Tuesday. There is also a slight chance for an early shower. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s, not far from average values for early July in Alabama.

Clouds will begin to build in late tonight and become partly cloudy tomorrow with similar high temperatures but higher humidity and a slight chance of an afternoon shower or two. Friday night will be uncomfortable for sleeping without air conditioning, with lows in the lower 70s! More afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible as the atmosphere will remain very moist and unstable. "Rainfall amounts will be heaviest (1-3") across northern and eastern Kansas through Saturday morning. It will not be a wash-out for Independence Day Weekend though.
