Finally We Get to Talk About Something Other Than Donald Trump Jr

At the same time Fischer, who is up for re-election next year, refused to directly criticize President Trump for calling the special prosecutor's Russian Federation investigation a "witch hunt". Christopher Wray pledged "strict independence" and declared that any effort to impede Mueller is unacceptable - no small matter since the president fired James Comey as Federal Bureau of Investigation director over his handling of the Russian Federation issue. "Nobody asked for any kind of loyalty oath and I sure didn't offer one".

Christopher Wray, the former Justice Department official whom Mr. Trump nominated last month, also told senators at his confirmation hearing that he would never let politics get in the way of the bureau's mission.

The Crown prosecutor of Russian Federation met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some of the official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russian Federation and would be very useful to your father.

"When I chose to just do it, I said to myself, I said "You know, this Russian Federation thing with Trump and Russian Federation is a made up story, it's an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should've won", Mr Trump told NBC.

The appointment of Mr Mueller was considered a victory for Democrats, who had asserted that if Americans were to have faith in the impartiality of the Russian Federation investigation, then it must not be left in the hands of the FBI.

Trump has repeatedly derided as a "hoax" and a "witch hunt" an ongoing investigation by the FBI and Robert Mueller, the former FBI director selected in May as the special counsel to oversee the probe.

California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the panel, said she will vote for Wray.

"My loyalty is to the constitution, to the rule of law, and to the FBI", Wray said. "It would be wise for all of us to proceed with great caution in the wake of that information", Wray said. While we do believe the special investigation is indeed a Demo/MSM witch hunt, Wray doesn't have the luxury of expressing his personal opinions.

Different kind of framing: Yadier Molina takes picture of Nelson Cruz with umpire prior to at-bat
He was anxious he'd just made a costly baserunning error, but West called him safe. "He saved my butt calling me safe". According to Cruz, Molina was all for the idea, but West wasn't a fan at first.

Wray, who most recently has enjoyed a lucrative legal career at an global law firm, also faced questions about his work as a Justice Department official in the Bush administration.

Also during the proceedings, Democratic Senator Richard Durbin brought up how Mr Comey had testified that his private meetings with Mr Trump had made him uncomfortable.

After Trump dismissed Comey on May 9, the ex-FBI director said that the president had asked him to pledge his loyalty during a dinner at the White House months earlier.

"You can't do a job like this without being prepared to either quit or be fired at a moment's notice you're asked to do something or confronted with something that is either illegal, unconstitutional or even morally repugnant", he said.

She says she is concerned after Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey.

The same defence has been employed by White House aides Kellyanne Conway and Sebastian Gorka, not to mention Don Jr himself as well as most Trump supporters.

"I've been there for Bob Mueller when he was director of the FBI", Durbin said.

"I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director!"
