PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Getting First-Person Servers

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Getting First-Person Servers

Servers hosting this mode will appropriately be referred to as "hardcore servers" in-game. Once Bluehole polishes the first-person system, it should expand into the other regions.

KitGuru Says: A first-person only mode in a battle royale game will prove significantly more hard, acting like a hardcore mode. First up will be an FOV (field-of-view) slider, which will give players greater control over their view in-game, and following that will be the addition of dedicated first-person view servers. Developer Bluehole announced today that first-person servers will go live in the next update.

"Our game, platform, engineering, and gameplay teams all need to do work to make it happen, and they are all quite busy with optimisation work at the moment!"

What's left is for the team to test the values before shipping it in this month's update, due for release two weeks from now. This basically means that you won't be able to switch between third-person and first-person modes on the fly.

Manchester City could finalise Benjamin Mendy signing this week
City have long agreed personal terms with Walker, but were finding negotiations with Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, very hard . Manchester City are close to completing the signing of Tottenham and England right-back Kyle Walker , reports BBC Sport.

Until then, we'll have to rely on custom game modes for something different than the vanilla Battlegrounds.

The next update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is going to be a big one.

Having a first-person mode should also remove the free-look ability, forcing everyone to constantly shift and check their surroundings.
