Trump Has Putin Over a Barrel

Flores was referring to Donald Trump, Jr., who posted on Twitter on Tuesday an email exchange from June 2016 in which he displayed an eagerness to collaborate with a Russian official to obtain damaging information on the Democratic nominee, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump Jr.'s tweets Tuesday didn't answer one question about his meeting with a Russian lawyer: Were the emails the president's son released the full extent of his communication about the meeting?

"Most people would have taken that meeting", Trump said.

US intelligence agencies have concluded that the Russian government meddled in the 2016 election to bolster Trump and to hurt Clinton.

The Republican chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee said Thursday that he would call on Trump Jr.to testify amid investigations into Russian meddling in last year's election and would subpoena him if necessary.

When asked about his reaction to the email, Mr Trump Jr said: "I had been reading about scandals that people were probably underreporting for a long time, so maybe it was something that had to do with one of those things".

Trump Jr. went on to meet with Veselnitskaya, along with Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and then campaign manager Paul Manafort on June 9, 2016, at Trump Tower in NY. The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, California Rep. Adam Schiff, said the emails are "obviously very significant, deeply disturbing, new public information about direct contacts between the Russian government and its intermediaries and the very centre of the Trump family, campaign and organization".

The complaint said that Manafort and Kushner, by attending the meeting knowing the subject matter, are also at fault. Responding to a question about terrorism in France, Trump said Macron would not be "easy on people who are breaking the law".

But Ms Vance believes the Kremlin has achieved some of its goals with Trump's appointment.

Ms Al-Adheem, a medical doctor from Iraq, also had stab wounds when the gardaí arrived at her flat shortly after 7pm on Monday. Wearing a purple sweater, blue jeans and glasses, she nodded when the brief proceedings ended but did not address the court.

"It looks here like we have the Trump folks soliticing the Russians, in effect, for something of value - this "opposition research" - that they then go on and actually use. So something happened and we have to find out what it is", he said. But he added of Putin: "Somebody did say if he did do it you wouldn't have found out about it". But he's the leader of Russian Federation. Trump said, referring to two Americans executed in 1953 after being convicted of spying for the Soviet Union. Did they intervene to help put Donald Trump in power? Yes.

"The Russians role here, the role of their intelligence service certainly, would be to disrupt the smooth functioning of the United States government on every level".

At the press conference with the worldwide media, Trump said he "had done a great service to the country" by nominating Wray.

"She talks about our connections - supposed connection to Russia - because we built condominiums, sold a couple apartments to some Russians in New York", Trump Jr.

Trump also disputed that Putin ever claimed Trump had accepted his denials, insisting Putin "didn't say that".

A spokesman for Wasserman Schultz said the congresswoman also intends to introduce an amendment in the future that would bar the government from issuing or maintaining a security clearance for White House staff who "deliberately fail" to disclose meetings with foreign nationals.

"Why would he want me [to win]?"

"The Trump that you see on TV is very different than the real Trump", Putin told reporters at the G20 in Germany.
