Watch Trump Suffer a Daft Punk Medley for Bastille Day

USA president Donald Trump and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron have been regaled with a brass band medley of Daft Punk songs.

Originally performed with Pharrell Williams on Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, "Get Lucky" was described by Diffuser's Amy Sciarretto back then as "an elegant and stylish song with a looped beat that could inspire even the staunchest wallflower to get up and dance". While French President Emmanuel Macron beamed with pride at the delightful notes of "Digital Love" and "One More Time", Trump was the picture of cluelessness.

Bastille Day plays host to the oldest and largest regular military parade in Europe, which President Donald Trump was lucky enough to witness on his trip to France.

Honestly, how could you help but smile?

Taggart dismisses Darren Carrington from football program
In the fall, Carrington was accused of pushing a man and breaking the man's arm while dressed like the Joker for Halloween . Carrington led the Ducks in receiving yards previous year , catching 43 passes for 606 yards and five touchdowns.

And now we can add "popular culture" and "fun" to the list of things lacking in Trump's pretty dry fountain of knowledge.

Another said: "Do you think this visit was actually just so Macron could troll Trump and subliminally call him a "Daft Punk"?"

Maybe Trump prefers Daft Punk's less commercial work and feels that brass band covers dilute the potency of electronic music, making a mockery of the genre.
