AC Milan want Belotti, Morata or Aubameyang as spending spree continues

"Yes, we have had interest, that is obvious and it's public".

Lukaku scored 25 times in the Premier League last season, and laid on another six assists, to narrowly miss out on the Golden Boot, while Morata only notched 15 league goals.

Morata remains a target as well with reports in Italy claiming the Spain global is "on the verge" of finalising his switch to the San Siro. "He was really close to signing", he said.

Following United's 5-2 victory over LA Galaxy on the weekend, Jose Mourinho's side are now preparing to face Real Salt Lake on Tuesday before taking on rivals Manchester City in a pre-season friendly.

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera says he will "do everything possible" to keep David De Gea as a teammate, amid speculation that Real Madrid could return with a bid for the goalkeeper this summer.

Milan have already signed Hakan Calhanoglu, Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie, Ricardo Rodriguez, Andre Silva, Fabio Borini and Andrea Conti this summer - with Leonardo Bonucci's move from Juventus all but complete - and they are now turning their attention to landing a marquee striker.

Since Zidane often plays Isco in midfield, when one of Benzema, Bale and Cristiano are unavailable.

"There were complications between the Champions League Final and the emergence of other teams, and the track cooled down".

It had been widely reported earlier in the transfer window that Morata was United's first choice target to replace the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic but a dramatic volte-face earlier this month saw the Red Devils swoop for Romelu Lukaku from under Chelsea's noses.

Now, Morata could move back to Italy and join AC Milan - who have stunned the rest of Europe with a £160MILLION spending spree so far this summer.
