Mark Ruffalo Reveals Whether or Not We'll Get A Solo HULK Movie

Universal has the rights to the stand-alone Hulk movie, and for some reason, they don't know how to play well with Marvel.

"And with you as the new Hulk, it would be bad", quipped Cheadle.

Though those comments came as clear cut as they ever could, Ruffalo later took to his Twitter account, writing: "I want a stand alone Hulk movie".

What we don't know is if this applies to all Hulk-related characters; could She-Hulk, for example, get her own movie (please)?

Stuntman's Fatal Accident May Have No Effect on Premiere Schedule
Bernecker was a member of Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) which promised to investigate the incident.

"With you as the new Hulk, it would be bad", the actor, who will reprise his role as James Rhodes/War Machine in "Infinity War" quipped. After all, we're certainly not exhausted of him in the role, and would even pay to see a "Science Bros" movie with just him and Tony Stark out of costume the entire time. Ruffalo addressed the subject after the extended trailer reel for Avengers: Infinity War debuted at this weekend's D23 Expo 2017 in Anaheim, California. He reprised the role again in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and has appeared in cameos in Iron Man 3 and the Team Thor shorts. Cheadle joked that Marvel won't make a solo Hulk movie because it knows Ruffalo "would be awful", and that the 49-year-old actor is "already too old" to play the hero. "It's clearly about who's playing Hulk", he joked.

Of all the comic book characters that feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's arguably the treatment of The Hulk that makes the least sense.

Visibly distraught in knowing he won't star in a Hulk standalone, Ruffalo continued, "We've talked about it, but I just don't see it in the cards... it's okay, I'm fine". If anything, his words during the Marvel panel at D23 will serve to only sour the relationship between Marvel Studios and Universal.
